With almost one million people in the UK living with dementia, it is a condition that touches the lives of many of our clients, colleagues and loved ones. That's why we're proud to support Alzheimer's Research UK (ARUK), a charity chosen by our colleagues in 2021 and one that continues to hold special significance across our business.

This World Alzheimer's Month, we're highlighting the importance of dementia research and the difference collective support can make. Since our partnership began, colleagues have raised over £183,000 through fundraising and matched giving, while also supporting the charity through volunteering and awareness-raising activities.

From our 28 Miles in February challenge to the London Landmarks Half Marathon, charity fantasy football leagues and more, colleagues continue to raise funds for vital dementia research. Looking ahead, one of our Financial Advisers, Cameron Finn, will be taking on the London Marathon in 2027 in support of Alzheimer's Research UK. We wish Cameron every success and thank him for supporting this important cause.

As the UK's leading dementia research charity, ARUK is working to transform the way dementia is detected, treated and prevented, bringing us closer to a cure and a world free from the fear, harm and heartbreak of dementia. We're proud to support this mission and the vital research that could change the lives of future generations.
